In 2016, Noël N’GUESSAN worked on a project to clean up Cocody Bay in Abidjan. He was in charge of treating organic matter and recovering organic pollution to give it a second life.
This experience inspired him to come up with compact and accessible solutions for agricultural producers. This is how he founded “LONO”, a company specialising in converting organic waste into biogas.
“LONO” offers two types of composting devices: a small model for domestic use and a second, larger model for food processors. Noël N’GUESSAN hopes to sell around a hundred of these composting boxes over the next few years, while also expanding into neighbouring countries to Côte d’Ivoire.
