Leila TIEMOUNOU followed a trainins in pastry when she came back to Burkina Faso from France.
After opening her Pastry company “Pâtisserie Câline”, she woked on perfecting her skills and build her clientele. In 2023, she was selected to participate in the World Pastry Competition in Tunisia. Despite the challenges she and her team faced on-site, they presented their work that highlighted local ingredients from Burkina Faso. They won the trophy of the best pastry chef in the 3D cake category, as well as the gold medal.
For her, it’s an honour to win this prize and it’s a motivation for her to continue working in pastry.
