After the death of his parents, Joseph OUÉDRAOGO was forced to leave school, as he had no one to take care of him. He turned to livestock farming, a skill passed down from his father.
Joseph OUÉDRAOGO began his entrepreneurial adventure with two sheep. One thing led to another and he managed to buy a bull and sell it for more than twice the initial purchase price.
Thanks to the support of the Support Programme for the Promotion of Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Phase 2 (PAPEA-2), Joseph OUÉDRAOGO was able to access credit facilities that enabled him to develop his business.
