Description

Roméo DOU, 37 years, is a microbiologist from Cote d’Ivoire. In addition to his vermiculture activities, he produces virgin coconut oil, thanks to an artisanal process that he has put into place after several years of research.

Romeo believes that raw materials from Cote d’Ivoire should not be exported anymore. They require a minimum pf processing or value-addition. This is what has motivated him to launch himself into the transformation of agricultural products.

Through the artisanal process, Romeo produces 3000 litres of virgin coconut oil, 3,6 tonnes of cocoa butter and 2,4 tonnes of coconut powder.
