Ollasset Djoro AHOUO is a young entrepreneur in Cote d’Ivoire. In 2009, she leaves the faculty of medicine to study agriculture. Today, she produces and markets organic fruits and vegetables.
Her parents’ dream was for her to become a doctor. But her dream was to be an agricultural entrepreneur. Ollasset followed her heart and today does not regret her decision. Despite the difficulties she met during her entrepreneurial journey, she brought in her own innovations and overcame them.
“Being engaged in agriculture, it’s first of all to cultivate patience. You have to be patient and resilient,” says Ollasset.
