Axel Emmanuel, manager in a bank, left his job in 2010 to start the production of chocolate “Made in Cote d’Ivoire”. A winning choice.
It all started from an observation. Cote d’Ivoire is the first global producer of cocoa, but very few people were involved at the level of its transformation. This is where Axel Emmanuel found the opportunity and decided to get into the chocolate business. He had a very modest start, and grew his business gradually.
In just few years, the young chocolate maker has already won many awards. The 2015 winner of the Alassane Ouattara Prize of young entrepreneur, Champion of Cote d’Ivoire in chocolate-bakery, Vice-champion of African chocolate makers 2014 and the Young talent inventor 2014 of the Francophonie.
