A financial engineer by profession, Josias KÉRÉ has a passion for agriculture and technology. He was interested to try hydroponics production for better management of water and produce more in a smaller space.
This led him to a training in France, after which he returned to Burkina Faso to start his company, Agri Minga. In addition to producing different fruits and vegetables under hydroponics culture, he also offers training on the technology.
“In three years’ time, our aim is to be able to set up several production units like this one and even larger ones next to every major town in Burkina Faso, so that we can produce directly and supply the town,” said Josias.
