Kenya: Youth employment through maize value chain

Description

In the County of Nakuru in Kenya, maize is one of the main crops produced. The Blessing Hand Self Help Youth Group is engaged in maize production and processing. The group has 12 members and started with KES 100,000 from member contributions.

This video has been funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), in the framework of the Youth Economic Empowerment through Agribusiness in Kenya (VijaBiz) project.

Mainly funded by IFAD, the project has been co-implemented and co-funded by the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) and USTADI Foundation (Kenya).
