Description

In Kenya, 16% of milk undergoes home or artisanal processing. In the County of Kilifi, Umoja Youth Group manufactures yoghurt and fermented milk, popularly known as Mala.

This video has been funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), in the framework of the Youth Economic Empowerment through Agribusiness in Kenya (VijaBiz) project.

Mainly funded by IFAD, the project has been co-implemented and co-funded by the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) and USTADI Foundation (Kenya).
