Awa KAFANDO, a midwife by training, is the Founder of the “Miellerie Reine d’Abeille business”. She specialises in marketing products such as natural honey, propolis and beeswax.
Her entrepreneurial idea was born after several unsuccessful attempts to join the civil service. Faced with these failures, she decided to start selling honey as a way of escaping unemployment and a sedentary lifestyle.
Thanks to the quality of the products she offers, her business has flourished. She has even managed to formalise her business and move into larger premises.
