Siata TRAORÉ heads the “Lagm-taaba” cooperative, which has over a hundred members. For more than seven years, this cooperative has been processing ginger into juice, powder, pastilles, etc.
Siata TRAORÉ’s beginnings were marked by many challenges. Thanks to her courage and determination, she was able to overcome the obstacles. The Support Programme for the Promotion of Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Phase 2 (PAPEA-2) helped Siata TRAORÉ by facilitating relations with numerous partners.
The “Lagm-taaba” cooperative has organic certification, enabling it to sell its products abroad. Siata TRAORÉ hopes to win over a large number of clients abroad in the near future.
