As the head of “Global Business Technologie”, a company specialising in telecommunications, applications and software development, Boubacar SANGHO initially developed a solution for internal use. However, he quickly realised that this innovation could benefit a wider audience, particularly farmers.
Named “Hadari”, this solution enables farmers to irrigate their fields remotely, simply by sending a text message from their smartphone.
After a successful trial phase, Boubacar SANGHO and his team have launched the production and marketing of “Hadari”, which is available on the Malian market. He hopes to see as many people as possible gain access to the technology, and to the new farming techniques that “Global Business Technologie” plans to develop over the coming years.
