To ensure the animal’s well-being, it is important to be able to observe its natural behaviour. This behaviour describes whether the animal is healthy or not.
Dr. Gisèle PARE-OUEDRAOGO, veterinarian and Director of Veterinary Public Health and Legislation, describes the procedure to follow so as not to hinder the animal’s well-being.
“The fact of encouraging the natural behaviour of the animal, this has an impact on its performance. An animal which is in its natural environment or which lives in an environment which is favourable to it, will better express its potentialities,” says Dr. Gisèle PARE-OUEDRAOGO.
