Many farmers’ agricultural yields have fallen as a result of global warming and reduced rainfall. It’s with the aim of tackling this problem that Laurent KOFFI founded “Green Agro Valley”.
“Green Agro Valley” offers two innovative solutions to help farmers water their crops at lower cost and with less energy. The first is a laser spray irrigation system that saves around 70% water, and the second is a drilling system with solar pumping.
Over the next five years, Laurent KOFFI aims to equip more than 25,000 hectares of farmland throughout the West African sub-region, and to establish his company in 10 countries.
