After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, Ismaëlda OUATTARA completed several internships, and even landed some contracts. However, her adventure in the world of employment was short-lived. Faced with this situation, she decided to become an entrepreneur.
Passionate about art, Ismaëlda OUATTARA set up “Les Merveilles du Bois”, a company specialising in the processing and marketing of crockery and earrings made from dead wood. For her, this business is a way of promoting Burkninabè craftsmanship and providing for her own needs.
Despite difficult beginnings marked by many prejudices, Ismaëlda OUATTARA has managed to pull herself up by her bootstraps. Today, she sells her creations to restaurants and individuals.
