The Accelerating innovation dynamics in agriculture by strengthening innovation support services (AcceSS) project organised a seminar on open and responsible innovation in the agricultural sector. The seminar was held from 20 to 22 November 2024 at the Thomas SANKARA University (UTS) in the rural commune of Saaba, Burkina Faso.
The event brought together more than thirty Masters and Doctorate students from various universities and institutes, as well as national and international practitioners and researchers. The aim of the seminar was to share knowledge, results and experiences in the field of open and responsible innovation in the agricultural sector.
The AcceSS project is being implemented in Burkina Faso by a consortium of partners comprising CIRAD, CNRST, La Fabrique, CEDRES at Thomas Sankara University, Experts Synergy Consulting, Afric’Innov, ICRA and the FAO Innovation Office in Rome. It is funded by the European Union under the DeSIRA initiative.
