
Mathias BARRO grew up alongside his mother in the processing industry. So, it was natural that he wanted to follow in her footsteps by launching his own business.
In 2019, Mathias BARRO set up “Merveille Production du Kénédougou”, a company specialising in cassava processing. The company offers a wide range of products, including tapioca, atitéké, cassava paste and dehydrated attiéké.
Thanks to the Support Programme for the Promotion of Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Phase 2 (PAPEA-2), Mathias BARRO and his colleagues have undergone a number of training courses. These training courses have proved beneficial for “Merveille Production du Kénédougou”, as they have enabled the company to increase both its production capacity and the quality of its products.
