Valorising local dishes

In Ouagadougou, Marguerite VALIA, caterer, is involved in the valorisation of local agricultural products.

Inspired by her mum, who is a pioneer in the catering business, Marguerite followed her footsteps and is gradually taking over her activities.

Marguerite’s long-term project is to open a big restaurant or start a training school to help young girls who want to go into the catering business. Especially those who did not get the opportunity to learn from their mother like her. She wants to valorise the Burkinabè culture through local dishes.
