Description

After contracting measles at the age of 10, Irénée Traoré had lost sight. His life changed drastically and he could no ore play with his classmates, or walk around.

In 2018, with the support of OCADES and CBM through the Project of Support for the Development of Eye Health in Mouhoun (PADESOM), he was trained in weaving, and also learned to read and write braille.

Today, he has a job that allows him to cater for his needs and those of his family. In addition, he can read and write. He shares his time between his work and helping others.
