In Côte d’Ivoire, INVESTIV, a technological start-up specialised in precision agriculture, has raised a fund of USD 400,000 to develop its services.
In 2017, just after his studies at the University of Laval in Canada, Aboubacar Karim returned to his home country, Côte d’Ivoire, where he created INVESTIV. Since then, the company has mapped and diagnosed about 8,000 hectares of plantation and set up more than 30 off-ground farms. INVESTIV has also won several prizes.
Today, INVESTIV reached a new milestone with the funds that they have raised. In this video, Aboubacar shares his experience about the fundraising process and the future plans of the company.
